The wedding ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 14th, directly followed by a cocktail hour and reception. Appetizers and dinner will be served, and dancing will be required. Please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and excited to celebrate with us.

 FAQs

  • The ceremony is planned to start at 4:00 pm; we would appreciate that everyone be seated in the amphitheater by then. Hickory Run State Park is a gorgeous area with lots of trails, so feel free to arrive earlier in the day and take advantage of the park!

  • We seriously mean it when we say please wear whatever you feel comfortable in, whether that happens to be a full suit or your favorite pair of Skochys. Remember that the ceremony and reception will be outside, so consider dressing appropriately for the weather.

  • Your presence is our present; please do not feel a need to get us anything. However, if you want to, we would prefer if you would consider donating to our honeymoon fund instead of getting us a gift.

  • A cocktail hour and reception dinner will take place at the day use pavilion in Hickory Run State Park, a short walk from the ampitheatre, directly following the ceremony. There is parking by the pavilion if you would prefer to drive.

  • State park regulations prohibit alcohol within the park, and we will be adhering to this for the wedding and reception dinner. Everyone is welcome to join us at Valhalla after dinner for the after-party where alcohol will be available.

  • After the ceremony and reception at Hickory Run Park, we will head back to the cabins for an after party at Valhalla.
